'Be your own Trail Boss'
with RiderRoutes and RouteXplorer
We've been continuing to develop and expand on RiderRoutes.....
We wanted a simple, user friendly 'track first' app with the core features that made creating our Routes easier.
Simple things like -
Track on top at the touch of the screen
'On the fly' waypoints,
Instant and synced waypoint relocation.
Adding waypoints directly to a track file during recording,
Switchable proximity alerts for waypoints, and smart direction switching.
Camera alerts and more.
We wanted to easily pick a track on the screen and follow it, not search libraries just to change the colour, so we unified a track on top, along with multi track detection to avoid endless zooming in the hope of tapping the right one.
We wanted to share our routes in a group, with a simple sync, see where each of us were on the map, maybe even find that lost phone that bounced off it's mount or out of a tankbag.
We wanted our own colour theme choices, we wanted a screen display with all the info in front of us, or nothing at all, other than the track we were riding/recording.
We wanted live track updates and corrections during pre-rides instead of needing a pc program, we wanted it to work offline on phones and tablets.
We wanted a simple app for our customers that weren't interested in expensive hardware or steep learning curves.
We wanted an offline ready home for our RiderRoutes and the ability to share those Routes with users (this is a paid service)
We wanted......yeah, we wanted A LOT, but we trimmed the fat and stuck with 'needs first' and power users later!
Frustrated with apps and devices that missed features we needed or had many we didn't, it just became a game of bloatware vs missing pieces.
So, we built our own, with all of these features baked in, and so many more modules on the cooker right now. When we say 'built' we mean it, this is not a rebranded or plug in product, it's our own developed product, from the ground up.
RouteXplorer is a gpx track first app for Android devices, it was a simple plan, give us what we use, wrap it up and deliver it to riders and drivers, keep it focused on Australia and offline ready.
The project has seen a few trail obstacles since we started with the idea and first Web version of NAVIG8 in 2018, but here we are, a detour that has led us to an exciting point on the map.
RouteXplorer is the perfect fuss-free offline gpx navigator where You get to be your own trail boss!
We've got 100 only lifetime and 100 annual subscription pre-sale discounts coming soon, with final release due in 60days.
