Social ride | Batemans - Jindabyne

2021 has certainly had it's share of obstacles and we couldn't organise our Bike Minded camp outs and didn't expect to be able to hold our annual social ride, but a few riders asked if we could 'just do something' before Christmas.

So here it is, a social ride that kicks off from Batemans Bay on Monday the 13th December, straight off the back of our last BLITZ event for 2021.

We've left this one very open and loose, with the expectation to make diversions depending on weather and closures. It is expected to be an easy going ride with a social atmosphere, a great catch up and ride before Christmas.

We'll be leaving the support vehicle behind and making our way to Jindabyne via various roads and trails, follow us or make your own way there.

This is a social ride, therefore there is no cost to register.

You organise your own accomodation and other expenses.

Mon 13th: Changed due to flooding on southcoast, some riders have accom they can't cancel, others have elected to leave from home, so we'll meet up at Braidwood Bakery at 10am, and we'll ride to Jindabyne. (Mixed terrain)

Tue 14th: (9am) leave from Jindabyne Town centre and ride the Alpine Way, Tooma Rd, Goat Ridge, Link Road and back via the Snowy Mountains Highway. (Stunning sealed roads all day)

Wed 15th: (9am) leave from Jindabyne Town centre and make our way back to Nowra (Mixed terrain)

We'll be staying at either the bike friendly Kookaburra Lodge or Lake Jindabyne Motel on Monday and Tuesday nights.

Dinner at the Jindabyne Hotel Monday Night, and Tuesday night is TBA.
