Garmin has announced the release of the Garmin Zumo XT2 and it's finally looking as though Garmin have started listening to what riders want and expect from a Motorcycle GPS.
Historically, the Zumo range has really just been similar to an in-dash car navigator, functionality was clunky at best, on screen information fell short and it left many riders wanting a true offroad cabable device feeling like they'd blown their coin.
Over the years, things have definintely changed, with ruggedised tablets and phones becoming the norm and the good old GPS taking a back seat.
Are we finally seeing Garmin answer this by adding long awaited features to the Zumo range? Let's hope so.
Some of the welcomed XT2 features include:
15% BIGGER AND BRIGHTER DISPLAY
The 6″ display is 15% larger than previous models and features an even brighter HD resolution in landscape or portrait mode.
GROUP TRACKING
Use the Tread® app on your smartphone and/or zūmo XT2 device to track friends with the Group Ride Mobile feature. Or, use the Group Ride Tracker accessory (sold separately) for tracking other riders with no cellular coverage needed.
