2023 BathurstGSR - (2-3 Day option) Dec 2-4

Combing two previous OberonBLITZ Routes and the Bridle Track to make the BathurstGSR.


Start Location: ProRider, 1/217 Old Hume Hwy, Mittagong NSW 2575

Time: Arrive at 7:30am


Day1 - Sat 2nd Dec

The Ride starts from Mittagong, NSW, and heads through Bulio, the surrounding range roads above Wombeyan Caves and on to Bathurst for an overnight stop.


Day2 - Sun 3rd Dec

A day loop from Bathurst, taking in Sunny Corner, Turon, Sofala, Wattle Flats, Hill End and the Bridle Track before returning to Bathurst, choose a short or long route today.


Day3 - Mon 4th Dec (if selected)

The final day leaves Bathurst, after riding some scenic farmland and forested trails, we head through Taralga, riding Swallow Tail Pass and Canyonleigh.


Depending on your schedule, you can opt out anywhere after Canyonleigh, Robertson, or follow the route into Jamberoo and Kiama.

The current forecast looks great, with 10deg nights and a daily average of 24 degrees.

Approx 950kms


Fuel and Meals

You should have a fuel range of 300km.

Food is available along the route.


These will be shown as waypoints on your GPS.


Sat/Sun nights, we'll be having Dinner at the Panorama at 6.30pm.

Sun/Mon, breakfast is available from 7am.

Or you can make your own arrangements.


Accomodation

There's plenty of options in Bathurst for Sat and Sun nights.

3 Day option: $350.00

2 Day option: $240.00


Other costs: you pay for your own meals, accom and fuel.


Please Note:

  • This is a GPS navigation ride, you will need a GPS or Phone with a Navigation app. If you're new to navigation rides and need some help deciding on what to use, please contact us, we're here to help.

  • We provide a quality RiderRoute in .gpx format for your navigation device, support and sweep riders to assist with any difficulties along the way.

  • There is no support vehicle or luggage transport on this GSR Ride.

  • You should have your own PLB, we use and recommend Zoleo.

  • You should have comprehensive insurance and roadside assist, or a contact to transport you and/or your bike home in case of damage or breakdown.

  • Please read the rider information pages

  • Updates and track files will be sent to your registered email starting from one week before the event date, or if you are running an app, we can transfer it to you anytime prior to setting off.

  • Any final instructions will be provided during the morning briefing.
