SCAR+ | Batemans - Merimbula (via Lakes Entrance)

NSW Coast - Snowy River Country - Gippsland Lakes = one hell of an adventure ride!

SCAR+ starts from Batemans Bay and finishes in Merimbula on the NSW south coast. 

The route crosses the border into Victoria and makes it's way south to Lakes Entrance and return to NSW via the Gippsland High Country.

Day 1 - Batemans to Delegate

Day 2 - Delegate to Lakes Entrance

Day 3 - Lakes Entrance to Bondi Forest

Day 4 - Bondi Forest to Merimbula

The Plus day (+)

Day5

The + is an added day route provided for those wishing to extend their ride back to Batemans Bay. 

Distances: per day will be between 300 and 420kms, fuel stops will be listed on your final itinerary.

Expect everything on this ride from wide open gravel roads, forests, water crossings, spectacular ranges, hand cut waterways, suspension bridges and rainforests.

Yes, McKillops Bridge is on this route.

 

Accomodation varies from Log Cabins to Motor Inn's with one night being in a former low security prison in a pine forest, for this night you'll need to bring a sleeping bag, (it's not camping, you will have a room to yourself, they supply pillows and base linen only) your sleeping bag will be carried in the luggage transport for you.

Due to accomodation and distances between services during a couple of the days, the following meals and accomodation are included in your registration.

• Breakfasts x 2 (Sat, Mon)
• Lunch x 2  (Sat, Sun)
• Dinner x 2 (Fri, Sun)
• Accom x 4 (Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon) You'll need to book your own accomodation if you're staying in Batemans Thursday night.

Night 1: Log cabins/Pub

Night 2: Motel/Motor Inn

Night3: Single room, forest accom.

Night4: Motel/Motor Inn

You'll also recieve a SCAR+ T Shirt and Windscreen Sticker/Number for your bike.

Luggage transport is provided, limited to one duffle bag per rider and one sleeping bag.

You'll be supported by our highly experienced and friendly team, 4WD with bike trailer, luggage transport and general mechanical assistance. 

We recommend 50/50 tyres for this ride.
